Christ Church Camp protest against the City of Amarillo

Christ Church Camp is a tent city on private land inside the city limits of Amarillo, TX. The tent city is home to several displaced or homeless people in the city. The City of Amarillo has found and attempting to enforce an old ordinance that will not allow people to camp longer than 72 hours at a time. This will force all the residence to leave and disperse around the city. They currently face a fine of $12,000 if they do not comply. We spent the day visiting with residence of Christ Church Camp and covering the peaceful protest march on February 25, 2018 in Amarillo, TX.
